Autumn 2018 Fashion Trends
Fashion trends come and go – and this season the 90s power dressing has made a comeback with tailored suiting of matching skirt or pants and jacket.
Slouchy and oversized jumpers teamed with skinny legged jeans are very popular for a more casual look. If you are short like me be careful you don’t drown your body shape.
Midi length skirts with asymmetrical hem lines, teamed with slouchy boots, are fun and comfortable smart casual dressing.
Plaids and checks have also made a comeback. My purchase for the season will be a plaid jacket to team up with my jeans for a smart casual look or teamed up with a skirt for a professional look.
Florals are so versatile and can be worn at any time of the year. This season you’ll find dresses and tops in bold florals with a dark background of navy or black.
The colours of this Autumn season are green, burgundy, rich red and winter white. Integrate these colours into your wardrobe with accessories, a pair of boots or maybe a coat. It’s a great idea to use them as an alternate to black for a change.
If you’d like something different to lift your look you may want to go for an Interesting jacket with bright patch work and beading.
Evening wear this season is all about sparkle and bling, eye catching metallic fabrics and fringing and beading finishes.
A leopard print top and a leather jacket seem to be timeless combination and will continue to serve you well this Autumn.
Remember, these are just trends and they aren’t all going to suit everyone. Don’t forget to shop from your wardrobe first!
