How To Style The Mismatched Fashion Trend - 2017
by Antoinette Stonham
We are experiencing ‘Deconstructed’ and ‘Mismatched’ as trends when dining. But it doesn’t stop there – the fashion industry is creating some funky and quirky outfits in those modes as well.
Prints and patterns are being spliced and stitched together to create these garments.
Florals, both small and large, stripes in vertical, horizontal and diagonal directions, ginghams in different sizes are being put together like a patchwork. Shoulder baring tops, uneven hemlines and ruffles are features of many outfits.
This trend isn’t for everyone as it is pretty busy. I’ve put a few styling inspirations together for you.
If you’re going to give it a go make sure you keep your shoes and accessories simple.
