I'm a Finalist in Four Categories at the 2025 ALIBI Awards!

I’m absolutely thrilled (and a little emotional!) to share some amazing news with you; I’ve been named a finalist in FOUR categories at the 2025 ALIBI Awards, hosted by the wonderful team at the Australian Ladies in Business Initiative (ALIBI).

Being recognised in one category would have been an honour, but to be selected in four has left me speechless. These nominations celebrate not only what I do at All About Style, but the heart, history, and community behind it.

Here are the categories I'm a finalist in:

ALIBI Business Lady of the Year

This one really means the world to me. It recognises a woman in business who leads with purpose, passion, and integrity, not just building a successful business, but contributing to her community and lifting others along the way. That’s what I’ve always aimed to do with All About Style: help people feel confident, empowered, and completely themselves through what they wear.

Aspiring Leader of the Year

I’ve never seen myself as a “typical” leader, but this nomination reminds me that leadership comes in many forms. It’s about being open to growth, sharing knowledge, supporting others, and showing up authentically, something I’ve embraced through the Aspiring Leader membership at ALIBI.

Enduring Brilliance

This category honours women who’ve been in business for 10+ years, and I’m so proud to be here. Running All About Style for over a decade hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. This nomination is for every moment I kept going when it would have been easier to give up.

This one’s for those of us who started (or reinvented!) our business journeys after 55. It’s a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to begin again, follow your passion, and make an impact. Age is not a barrier, it’s a strength.

Why This Means So Much

When I started All About Style, I never imagined I’d one day be recognised like this. Styling for me has always been about more than clothes, it’s about confidence, empowerment, and helping people show up in the world as the best version of themselves.

These nominations aren’t just for me, they’re for every person I’ve styled, every woman who’s doubted herself, and every small business owner pushing through the messy middle of their journey.

The ALIBI Awards were created by the incredible Kylie King to celebrate women in business across Australia, from all walks of life, industries, and stages of the journey. What I love most is that these awards honour real stories, authentic women, and businesses with heart.

“The ALIBI Awards are about more than trophies,” says Kylie. “They’re about connection, community, and recognising the women who inspire others by being real, authentic, and unapologetically themselves.”

That’s exactly what this moment feels like for me.
